Insurance and Payment
At Hill Family Dentistry, we do all that we can to make your treatment accessible. We accept the following:
- Most PPO insurance plans
- Select HMO Policies.
- Some AHCCCS Plans for patients under the age of 21.
- For our cash patients, we offer a discount plan for individuals and families that reduce the cost of treatment and provide exams, x-rays and regular cleanings at reduced cost.
About our doctors
Tim Hill, DMD.
Helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health gives me the most satisfaction as a dentist, says Dr Hill. He adds that, I treat my patients as if they are family. One of the best things about being a dentist is having the opportunity to improve my patients expectations of modern dentistry. Many times this means providing the most conservative and minimally invasive treatment that has the least side effects. Dr. Hill is also conscious of the effect a wonderful smile has on a person's self esteem and provides cosmetic dentistry for his patients looking to improve their appearance. As a father of five Dr Hill also enjoys working with children. After graduating from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Dr. Hill received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Oregon Health and Science University. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Outside of work, Dr. Hill enjoys doing handyman work and landscaping at home, reading, and spending time with his wife Cindy, and their family. He looks forward to seeing you and your family at our San Tan Valley office!
Melissa Trulson, DMD, MS.
Dr. Melissa Trulson was born and raised near the beaches of Clearwater, FL. She attended the University of Florida for both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nutritional Sciences, and then made the cross-country trek to Arizona to attend Midwestern University’s College of Dental Medicine. She regularly participates in advanced training and continuing education courses to stay current on information and technologies, so that she’s able to provide the best care for her patients. She has a genuine passion for dentistry and strives to ensure patients have a positive and welcoming experience. She believes in educating patients and helping them understand the link between dentistry, oral health, and overall health. She’s a big college football fan (Go Gators!) and enjoys hiking, baking, working out, and spending time with her husband and son.
