Chamber Welcomes Dentist Tim Hill to San Tan Valley

It is hard to believe in today’s age of urban sprawl, super stores and strip malls, but there was once a time when everyone in a neighborhood was familiar with those who provided a service for them - the milk man, police walking their beats, the butcher behind the meat counter, even the operator (remember those?) who connected your phone calls. It was those relationships that built a true sense of community where we lived.

Dr. Tim Hill, D.M.D., wants to use his dental practice to bring that same kind of feeling to his neighborhood. The San Tan Valley-resident celebrated the opening of his new office at 36359 N Gantzel #101 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony April 6, hosted by the San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Hill is excited to open his first solo practice and looks forward to an active role in the community.

“This is my community and these are my neighbors. I will make myself available to take care of them whenever they need me,” Hill said. “I am excited to have the opportunity to encourage my neighbors’ dental health and hope I can fulfill a need in the community with my practice.”

A native of Las Vegas, Dr. Hill attended UNLV and earned his D.M.D. from the Oregon Health & Science University. He worked at a public health office in Nevada for four years working extensively with children where his skills as a balloon twister helped put them at ease about visiting the dentist. Dr. Hill moved to Arizona in 2008 to join Gentle Dental Gilbert where he honed his skills with a larger practice and is now transitioning to a solo operation featuring brand-new equipment, a paperless filing system and digital imaging to minimize patient exposure to x-rays.
